The Huelga de Dolores, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation, is the comical celebration of the students of San Carlos de Guatemala University, with criticism and satire for those who impede the progress of the country. This year the variant corresponds to the “Chabela Centenaria”, an icon of the movement that turns 100 years old.
