It presents the background and construction efforts of the Monumento Nacional e Histórico (National and Historic Monument), Old Building of the San Carlos de Guatemala University, its architectural appreciation, sociopolitical events that took place in the building, its restoration due to the earthquakes, and its value for the people of Guatemala. Its rescue defined the use for which it would be designated, headquarters of MUSAC. 2014.
